Carric Ostoroth is an Elven Sorcerer, and leads the Periapt Society. Considered to be one of the greatest natural talents when it comes to magic in ages, he is a powerful sorcerer indeed, and is a staunch opponent of the Ethereal Conclave and its goals. He believes that magic should only be wielded by those like him - the people born with it - rather than taught to people, let alone to the masses, considering it to be far too great a danger, especially when left unchecked.
He is renowned for perfecting the Incendiary Cloud spell - at least according to his peers who have seen it in action.
