Aias , the Soldier is the god of Battle, Loyalty and Protection. He is the patron god of soldiers, guardsmen, and those who protect the borders of civilization agains that what lies beyond. Aias is one of Toutorix's Chosen, accended after the First Incursion. Since then he has guarded the edges of the Material Plane against powerful entities that wish to prey on Dunia. He was a large Goliath warrior, and the bravest and strongest soldier who fought during the First Incursion. He was offered godhood on behalf of his loyalty and steadfastness in the face of overwelming odds.
The Aspect of Aias is soldiers and watchers. Aias is worshiped by people who bear arms against those who would harm them and theirs, and by people who protect the borders of society against the unknown. His folowers stand with torch in hand at the edge of darkness, protecting the light against the horrors of the night. Every soldier and guard offers prayer to Aias to grant them strenght and courage. Battlesworn who fight together and protect each other out of friendship, love, and loyalty often swear an oath before Aias.
