Extended lore
Oberon, the Fairy King is the God of Animals, Tricksters, and Shapeshifters. He is the patron god of skinchangers, charletains and prophets. Oberon is one of the
Great Beasts and a son of
Isha, the Lifegiver. The god of Tricksters is closely tied to profecies and fate. Even though he makes a childish and naive impression, he is a cunning trickster who's thirst for knowledge and insight into the future are unrivaled by his fellow deities. His many shapes keep his comming and going hidden from prying eyes. He uses these powers and his many animalistic servants to gather knowlegdge from around the world and store it in his grand palaces in the
Feywylde. Oberon is married to his wife
Titania the Fairy Queen. The both of them rule the Seelie Court together, and deal most closely with the affairs of the fey spirits.
The Aspect of Oberon is shapeshifting and deciet. His followers collect knowledge from all over the world and offer it to their god in tribute. Oberon blesses those who keep secrets from others, or play cunning tricks on their enemies. Oberon is worshiped by the Wyldefolk as the king of the Fey spirits, and offerings are made to him to apease the ire of the spirits. He is equally worshiped as knowledgable in the weavings of fate. It is believed that Oberon watches all in secret, and the unexpected twists and turns of life are done in his name, to entertain him and serve his greater plan.
