Ruthar, the Teacher is the god of Magic, Knowledge, and Learning. He is the patron god of teachers, scholars, and wizards. Ruthar is one of Toutorix's Chosen, accended to godhood after the First Incursion. Since then he has watched ovet the world and kept safe the knowlegde the world has accumulated. Ruthar was and elderly Gnome during the times of the First Incursion, where he was chief among wizards and sage advisor to the war effort. His extreme dedication to knowlegde and the preservation thereoff caused Tautorix to offer him godhood.
The Aspect of Ruthar is learning and magic. He is worshiped by students and teachers who wish to expand on what is already known and leap into the unkown of scientific discovery. His folowers chase their discoveries with a religious zeal, and complete dedication to their goals is seen as the highest calling. Ruthar is worshiped by wizards, who use the aplication of knowledge to directly alter the world around them. Ruthar's folowers dislike willfull ignorance above all.
