The Wandering Monk is not a true deity, as the other gods of the World are. Instead, they are an ideal. A spiritual path that mortals may take to enlighten their mind and elevate their souls to new heights. The Wandering Monk is a symbol of this spiritualism, whos folowers wander many worlds and teach the Path of Enlightenment. The monks who follow these ideals train their bodies and minds to leave behind the material, and understand the true meaning of the universe. At the centre of their philosophy is the Fountain, the Source of Creation from which all souls, god or mortal, originate.
The Wandering monk represents this Path of Enlightenment, and teaches mortals to feel the energies of the universe. These folowers of the Path realize that all of these different energies have this same Source. For when a soul is able to return to the Fountain it can reach its full potential, and accend to a higher existence. Followers of the Path train for many years to reach this enlightenment, unchaining themselves from the universe, from its deities and rules. For only when freed, the soul can be reborn, and the path to enlightenment can be walked.
