Disaster / Destruction
On their way through the mountains to Nyxvanus, Scurra becomes separated from the party. He spots the same crow from the day before trying to help him and grabs it. While the rest of the party takes shelter in a cave, Syn and Ie head out to find Scurra. They end up having to build a temporary hut during another snow storm, causing Nicu to find Scurra first. He remarks that at least Scurra will be good for emotionally damaging the others after he kills them, but that Scurra doesn't deserve to know who he really is. The crow Scurra catches transforms into a humanoid form with a rapier named Olir (God of Winter) and challenges Nicu. Olir defeats Nicu right as Syn appears, but remarks that Nicu will return.
Nicu reveals that he Scurra was never meant to be on this journey (Amarus hadn't planned for him to join) and he hated having to carry him. He remarks that at least Scurra will be good for emotionally damaging the others after he kills them, but that Scurra doesn't deserve to know who he really is. The crow Scurra catches transforms into a humanoid form with a rapier and challenges Nicu. It is then revealed that the crow's name is Olir, the God of Winter, and the two seem to be "family." Olir defeats Nicu right as Syn appears, but remarks that Nicu will return. Olir also says that he hadn't wanted to get directly involved with anything, but he couldn't just let Nicu kill an innocent person in front of him. Olir grabs Scurra and Syn and uses his wings to fly them back to the cave with the others. There, he spends some time with the Syn before leaving him with one of his feathers. He also revealed to the others that Scurra's name is actually Scurra (the others didn't know before).
