The Edhelest-Tamluk Alliance is signed between the two prime ministers of the Edhelest Republic and the Tamluk Republic, Lydia Flynn Danvers and Tarai Amara Mitra. The two were undercover, secret double agents who worked against the Elysian Empire for the sake of the independence of their two homelands. After gaining independence, the two decided to work for change and an alliance between their new countries to usher in an age of trade, expansion, and peace.   It took several decades for the two countries to come to a decision on where their borders would lie, though their citizens are free to cross between them whenever they'd like as part of the alliance.
