Personal history
Bill has always had a problem with the law. Even as a child, he would steal anything he could and bully other children in giving him what he wanted. But when he (at the age of 11) actually killed another child when the child tried to fight back, he was sent to prison. In prison he became friends with two pirates whom told him stories of the open sea. Intreagued by this life of crime, they escaped prison together and he joined them on the Esmeralda. Years later, when the captain died the mantle was passed onto him and he has been the captain ever since.

In many of the stories, he heared of Captain Blackbeard. A pirate so fierce noone has ever defeated him in battle and with a treasure still unfound. Bill has made it his life goal to one day find and lay claim on this treasure.
