The Song of Dispair
Nikpig defeats one and displaces the two hags that are left while on his quest The Hags set up shop around the area north and east of Hardersfield.
The green hag in the north has a rogue assassin who runs a network of spies to recruit interesting people in satiation of the Green Hag. He arranges several meetings with Shilwal in the north of town.
Over time, the Hag manipulates Shilwal eventually causing her to willing give permission to take the two best children in town. The green hag delivers Shilwal to the Annis hag then changes form to Shilwal and returns to manipulate the children tho go with her to the annis hag East of town. The hag takes the children, strips them of their clothes and tasks the Head spy to "make it look real" . She then returns and lives with Zarwig for several days to build hope then disappears completely.
The Green hag grew powerful from this and receives "top up's" by visiting Zarwig in the night and causing further terror and despair. When she shows up, she transforms into Shilwal and starts calling Zarwig's name and yelling for help.
Meanwhile the Annis hag mates with Ufoke then devours him. She later gives birth to a third Night Hag to complete the coven. After the birth, Lapne is slowly eaten in front of Shilwal over a period of days.
Using Shilwals despair, the annis hag has enough power to use the transmutation stone to turn Shilwal into a banshee. (HL spell)
What appears to be the childrens mangled, mostly eaten bodies with scraps of their clothes and keepsakes are left but Shilwal never returns.
The newly born Night hag is still developing and is far less powerful than the other hags in the coven, but still causes serious nightmares and terror in her area. She is satiated through veneration and so is helped by a fanatical sect of cultists named "the Night Watchers" They are identified by their robes and a rope used as a belt.
