Lewin Booth

Lewin Boothe was an Autaran adventurer and explorer who lived some two centuries ago. His final fate is unknown, as he disappeared while searching for the legendary magical source of the Dark Forest Tributary.

Appearance

Lewin Boothe is the subject of a painting stored in the Palace , which shows him as a dapper gentleman with brown hair and a fancy mustache. He is posed in an adventurous stance with explorer’s clothing and a spyglass in hand.

Personal History

Lewin Boothe was born in Autara and started adventuring when he was young, exploring deep into the The Hill Lands and far down the Autaran coastline. He is most famous for attempting to find the magic lake that is the source of the dark forest river, which is rumored to have healing powers.   Lewin Booth published many books in his lifetime, living comfortably after selling stories of his adventures and explorations. His final work was published posthumously and was about his preparations for his search to the Magic Lake; the work was supposed to be longer with him making notes on his travels to publish later but alas that never happened. His personal notes and journals, as well as many of his books, are available at the Palace Library.
