Autarans

Autarans are the people from the kingdom of Autara. They are sedentary people living over a wide area that makes up their kingdom. They are ruled by a Monarchy and tend to be quite loyal to their queen.
Most Autarans live in small farming villages that have a mix of agriculture and livestock farming, although if they are near any of the waterways they will probably have more fishing and trade. There are also many Autarans that live in urban settlements as well, with the Capital being the most populated. These urban people have more varied professions, ranging from craftsmen to scholars.
Autaran architecture is made up of mostly stonework buildings with thatched or shingled roofs. In the country homes and buildings tend to only be one story and are often smaller; houses and buildings in cities and urban centers like the capital are much more varied and elaborate with multiple stories as well as sometimes being bigger and taking up more space. In the Capital, many of the homes are townhouses or apartment-like buildings, however, there are also bigger mansion-like homes and of course, the palace which is quite big.
Autarans dress in a variety of clothing but tend to stick to dresses or tunics paired with a skirt or trousers. You will however get the occasional person to dress in robes, these are mostly people found in urban areas with fancy jobs, such as Archivests or government workers. They also wear shoes or boots.

Relationship with Magic

Most Autarans have little magical ability and average cores, and can only do basic simple spells and use magic items. However, the portion of the population that does develop magical abilities, tends to live in the urban settlements and receive teaching from sorcerers or wizards via apprenticeships.

Ethnic Phenotypes

Autarans tend to be fair-skinned with straight brown or blonde and brown or blue eyes being the most common. Other traits like green eyes or curly hair are also possible but are much less common than the previously mentioned traits.
There is a variety of Diversity in Autara, especially in the large urban areas like the capital, where there is a wider diversity of people and physical appearance.
