Conduit

Conductors of Power

A conduit is one of the many ways for humans to conduct magical power. These items are blessed by the goddess to have magical properties, and they come in a variety of types.

Spirit well

A spirit well is an object that can trap a spirit, this gives the object great power, the type of power depends on the spirit captured. once a spirit enters the well it is impossible for it to emerge intact. When filled it can be used to cast basic spells, if you know their words. The spirit can also be harnessed as power, which can boost your own spells for a short time, destroying the spirit. The hard part might be capturing the spirit tho, since spirits don't like being captured, and other spirits might look down on you for capturing one of their own, particularly if they are of the same kind. Not all spirits care about the other types of spirits tho, and only worry about their own, this is relevant if you have bonded a spirit.

Soulblade

Soulblades are powerful artifacts that can be left behind when a great and powerful warrior dies. If a person achieves a certain level of power, upon their death, their soul will stick to the object that has the strongest attachment to the warrior, their weapon.
Soulblades will harness the surge of their previous owner, as well as their mana, which can be harnessed by any who wields the weapon, if the blade allows it. Soulblades will also hold on to some of their owner's mind, often this doesn't do much other than whisper incoherent gibberish to the new wielder, but the stronger they were, the more presence of mind they will have as a sword. They will become capable of choosing what bearer to lend their powers to.
This divides soulblades into two categories. Normal soul blades, who speak gibberish, and lend you their power, which is usually pretty impressive, and the speaking soulblades, who are capable of choosing a bearer, even saying normal words, and sometimes even full conversations, which are much more powerful.
Soulblades are all rare, but the speaking ones are very rare, and only a handful are known to exist.
