The Power
Magic is important in this world, all warriors need magic, and those without it won't last long. there are many different types of magic, but a couple that are easily available. All power comes from Emina, the goddess of this world, whenever magic is cast, she needs to be asked. there are a couple of acceptions to this, such as the gaining of an ideal, which doesn't require words and is instead triggered by an action. But if you want to cast any spell, you need to ask the goddess for permission. Fortunately, the goddess has excellent hearing, and she can hear you even if you whisper very softly. if you grow strong enough, and she grows fond of you, she might even keep an ear to your thoughts so you can cast without asking out loud.Conduction
The whole world is full of energy, but humans cant conduct magic themselves, so they need a conductor. one of these conductors could be a spirit. Which work by conducting power for the human to use. There are also magics such as an ideal, which is bestowed on humans directly by the goddess in her endless generosity. There are also weapons or tools that are capable of conducting magic, such an object is called a conduit, such a weapon acts independently and does not require you to be bonded to a spirit.Mana
The magical capacity that a human is capable of containing is called mana. This is different from magical power, which comes from the goddess, mana is more like a cup, that can be filled with water, the bigger the cup, the more water fits in it. Mana being the cup, and magical power being the water.Mana is increased with practice. The amount of mana an individual has, directly correlates with the scope and power of the spells they can cast. There are objects that can artificially increase one's mana, this kind of object is called a mana pool, they are often made of crystals and are worn as jewelry. In order for them to work, they have to touch the skin, and need to be activated with magical power.
