The Baklunish are the dominant ethnicity west of the Flanaess and among the Wolf and Tiger Nomads of the northwestern plains and in Zeif, Ull, and Ekbir. They predominantly have an array of golden-hued skin tones. Eye color is commonly a green cast, though rarely gray and hazel hues are seen. Bakluni hair is typical straight with color ranging from blue-black to dark brown.
They are split into two major groups. Nomadic heardsmen and farmers and traders. Somewhat like the Suel, the Baklunish tend toward magic as well. They are known for inventing new elemental spells. Their reputation for magic is due to the Rain of Colorless Fire that the Baklunish loosed upon the Suel Imperium a millennium ago.
