Ayssean Pools

When Aysseo, Goddess of Magic was killed protecting Pitesia from the World Eater, her body split into pure magic and came crashing down upon the budding world in the form of large droplets. Landing among the Everglade, they created small pocket dimensions of pure magic. Over time, their magic seeped through the mesh of the Everglade and into the atmosphere of Pitesia, causing all sorts of phenomena and creatures to be born, but especially, making way to the ability to harness magic and create spells.
Each Pool varies greatly in what they contain or even how big they are, but all are known to contain magical creatures and surroundings, and have a variably strong effect on those who find themselves in these pocket dimensions.
