Personal history
Not much is known of the Goddess of Mercy before she was reborn, other than that she was often seen as a Goddess of Purity or Innocence that was killed by a human, and who was later resurrected through mysterious means. Some said that her death caused such sorrow and misery for the people that she was naturally willed alive by the world's great need for her, but others believe that another powerful entity or even another God brought her back.
Now, she serves as a Goddess of Mercy and Protection for those who need it most, with her followers, Sylinia's Shield, preaching compassion and kindness throughout the world.
Morality & Philosophy
Sylinia, and by association her followers, tend toward compassion, empathy and kindness. She is a good aligned Goddess, and as such does not accept harming others unless in defense, both for self and for others. Doing ill toward others earns her ire.
