The Judicial Restructuring of Dalilak

In early 1111 EOS, High Lady Siamas Aladar went on a campaign to remove corruption from the courts. This lead to a huge restructuring of not only the Dalilak legal system, but also the social politics of the Nobility of Dalilak.

The courts of Dalilak (much like the rest of Alethkar) were corrupt, with the highest paying noble being the victor in almost all cases. Magistrates and lawyers readily accepted bribes, and dark eyes were never favored in any court. The High Lady removed many of the corrupt magistrates, offering positions (and elevated positions in the Dahn) to young incorruptible nobles who became very loyal to High Lardy Aladar because of their now elevated status. Meanwhile the corrupted nobles were given lesser positions elsewhere in the city and territory. This reconstruction would lead to an explosion in law related industries in Dalilak, and also the food industry truly launching itself into global recognition and fame.
