Kindred, the Eternal Cycle
Ina and Anibell (a.k.a. Kindred)
"Calling Kindred unique would be an understatement. Though simply calling them Kindred would also be an understatement. They are more than a simple surveyor in the eternal cycle. They are the representative of a peculiar continuation of the cycle, one that betrays death and breathes false life. The undeath."
Physical Description
Body Features
Kindred has long wispy white hair, pointed ears, and bright green eyes. They suspect their unique appearance is due to his Kalashtar heritage, but haven't given it too much thought beyond that.
Physical quirks
They use their right hand when spell casting, but are ambidextrous with writing due to temporarily breaking his arm when he was younger when he fell out of a tree.
Special abilities
They have an innate connection with all forms of nature, but a special tie to the undead. They can reanimate corpses and bones with "zombie fungus". After the false life has been expended, it becomes magically mummified, an offering to Anubis.

Personal history
Born to Farya and Wolvo, Ina was born as the result of the union between a human and a Quori spirit. Shortly after he was born Wolyo returned to her home, leaving Farya to parent his child alone. Together they learned Ina was innately connected to his mother's home, the Region of Dreams, and was specifically connected with a Quori spirit of his own, a female spirit named Ani (short for Anibell). They discovered their connection allowed them to telepathically speak with others, and it also bestowed Druidic abilities to Ina and Anibell.
Although not magically inclined, Farya mentored his children to be responsible with their magic and helped them develop and hone their abilities. Ina learned he had the ability to manipulate tangible substances: Shaping earth, redirecting water and air, and on rare occasions the manipulation of fire. Anibell had the mind for abstract elements. Among giving life and ensuring death, her power tunes with nature itself. Sometimes allowing for transportation between trees, communing with plants and animals, harnessing the energy of the sun and moon, and on occasion, summoning elemental beings to their service.
However, their magic training did not prepare them for their innate abilities. While most other Druids say the cycle of life ends with death and begins anew with rebirth, there lies a state between life and death. The undeath. Through experimentation Ina and Anibell found they had an affinity for raising corpses and piles of bones by covering these mediums with spores that would reanimate them under their command. Under the guidance of their father, they learned how to effectively employ the necromantic magic, and more importantly, when not to utilize it.
Over time Ina and Anibell developed a yearning to travel outside their secluded grove and search for a way to demonstrate their magic, to show others undeath is part of the natural cycle. Life, death, and the undead all belong to the same cycle, and they are all healthiest when they are in balance.
However, time had taken its toll on Farya and he was too weak to embark with them on their journey. Before he passed, he asked his children what they would call themselves during their journey, a name to represent both of them. Ina and Anibell decided on the name Kindred, since their father often referred to them as kindred spirits. When Farya eventually passed Kindred honored him be creating a permanent Druid Grove over the course of a year. Once completed, they set off to travel the world.
The pair found themselves strangers in each biome visited. They were never truly alone, as they always had each other, but many times they were aided by kind-hearted strangers that provided them temporary housing and taught them the local culture. In return for their kindness they helped enrich the area's farmlands and crop yields if they stayed during harvest season. Eventually their wanderlust led them to an endless forest that felt connected to a multitude of locations. Entranced by the wonders of the forest, they settled down and created a house. A few months later a Fallen Aasimir named Val'andra'as (Val) wandered to their home and the three become fast friends. Over the next two and a half years they would journey through the forest, known as the Feywoods, discovering mysterious of nature and new facets of life.
During their time in the Tanr Desert, Kindred pledged themselves to the service of Anubis, the same deity Val follows. At one of his temples they underwent a grueling trial and emerged with a staff given to them by Anubis. He set them off to the continent of Soren to help the world stay in balance against an impending threat.
