The Dwarvish Pantheon
For many Dwarves, the question of divinity is a known truth. There is the great family of the Gods and Godesses, all of them found in the Great Mountain Halls of Hallarn. Found in a mystical realm, the Gods are at constant war with ancient evils that seek to overthrow them. From their mountainous home within the other world, the Gods watch over the realm of mortals and protect them from unheard foes
It is said that the greatest of Dwarves have a chance to go to the Halls of Hallarn when they die, to join the Gods in their everlasting battle. A life of purpose, constant feasts and honour awaits for such noble Dwarves, and they will take their place amongst the Heroes of legend to see the end-times.
Aldin - Father of the Gods, The Great Smith, the God of Creation
The first of the Dwarvish Gods to awaken within the other world, Aldin forged the very Halls of Hallarn and the world. After his task was done, he grew lonely. With his last act of great power, he forged a wife out of pure fire, and in doing so created the Sun. Aldin is represented by the symbol of a Smith's Hammer
Elfra - Mother of Fertality, Wife of Aldin, Goddess of the Sun
Elfra bought life to the world and created the first Dwarves beneath the great mountains. Seeing the Dwarves in perpetual darkness, she took a flame from the sun and granted them light within the caves under the mountain. Many Dwarves pray to Elfra for health and children. She is represented by a Solar Disk with 10 points.
Mondu - God of the Mountains and Earth, first son of Aldin, Father of the Giants
The first son of Aldin and Elfra was Mondu. It is said at his birth, Elfra was so joyed that the mountains themselves moved and became the first Giants in the land. As Mondu grew, he looked fondly upon the Dwarves under the mountains, and bestowed upon them the means to craft the great cities out of rock. His symbol is that of a mountaintop.
Sulphun - One of the twin-Gods, Lord of Fire and the Forge
Aldin and Elfra gave birth to twins next, Sulphun and Gira. Sulphun was born with a heat within him that was taken from his Mother, and with this he taught the first great smiths of the Dwarves how to melt the metals of the world. He is represented by a Flaming Sword.
Gira - One of the twin-Gods, Goddess of Ice and the Cold
The opposite of her twin-brother Sulphun, Gira was blessed with the charge of the cold places in the world. Many Dwarves pray to her in the winter months, when the snow storms come and the deep places of the world get darker. Her symbol is a great White Axe.
Hera - Goddess of Death and Destruction
The fourth child of Aldin and Elfra was born blind to the world, but her vision could see in to the very souls of mortals. Guiding the lost souls of Dwarves to rest, Hera is the Goddess of Death and represents the destruction of the world. She is often shunned by her siblings and thought of as a loner, preferring her own company rather than the great feasts that fill the Halls of Hallarn. Both reverred and feared, many Dwarves pray to her to ward off death and illness. She is represented by a broken Smith's Hammer.
Fisera - Goddess of War and the Anvil
As the Gods grew in power in the other world, so did an ancient threat. Firey beasts from beyond lay siege to the Halls of Hallarn, and the Gods began their eternal battle to keep the Ancient enemies at bay and from pouring in to the world of the Dwarves. At the outset of the war, Aldin and Elfra had another child, Fisera, who killed a great beast of ash and fire on the day of her birth. She is the great warrior, and taught the Dwarves how to best use the anvil to create weapons and armour. She is represented by a sword pointing upwards.
Rytan - God of Courage and Strategy
With war forever raging against the Halls of Hallarn, Rytan was born. His mind keen and heart filled with honour, he is the great general of the armies of Hallarn. Dwarves pray to him for courage and when knowledge is needed. His symbol is of a great castle keep.
Modher - God of Luck, Gold and the Jewels of the Earth
The youngest son of Aldin and Elfra, Modher often travels the other world and does not stay within the Halls of Hallarn. It is often said that when good fortune comes to a Dwarf, Modher is near, unseen but granting them the gifts of his luck. His symbol is a gold coin.

The Halls of Hallarn
The Gods live within the greatest mountain in the Other World, having carved out a vast city of stone both beneath and on the sides of the peak. Its halls are filled with murals and statues telling of the deeds of the Gods and Dwarven heroes, the legends incribed straight in to the mounain itself.
Towering pillars hold up murals and roofs of granite, while beneath tables hosting an endless feast of meat and ale host the Dwarves that have long died and gone to eternally serve the gods. Great armouries are dedicated to the craft of mithril steel to arm the endless armies that protect the realms from ancient evils.
From his throne at the top of the mountain, Alfrin sees all, honouring heroes and ruling the Gods.
