The Pantheon of the Velen

The Many

The gods, the gracious, each of them has their place in the heavens, they all have their duties and different jobs to do in the world, to keep the wheel turning they all have to play their part. Together they are the Velen.

Creation

In the beginning, the Velen were all separate, and alone, but at some point in time, they started to gather together, and that is when they first created their own realm. By themselves, none of them could create their own world, but together, they were strong enough to accomplish this grand feat, and as more of them gathered, their realm became larger and larger. However not all of the new gods were welcome, they were unable to get along with these newcomers, and after having fought the war of the wayfarers, they shut their realm to newcomers.

Divine Artifacts

Each of the Velen has one or more personal artifacts that they granted to their followers, these objects carry great power, and are coveted by all. These artifacts came to the world long ago, and have since changed hands many times, now they are spread out throughout the world, some thought lost forever, others are now heirlooms to some royal dynasty.

The Heralds

All the Velen have the ability to birth into this world a herald, a representative of their divine will.
