The White Badger (a.k.a. The Protector. The Ever Vigilant.)
The official religion of all of Shonesone is Wachesism. The White Badger is seen as a guiding protective spirit of the land. Waches demands one thing above all of their worshipers. Loyalty. Not to the Badger but to your community. To protect your own with ferocity.
Wachist churches, commonly called "Setts," are considered safe havens for their communities, also referred to as clans, and are constructed to withstand long drawn out sieges. Priests of Wachism often wear all white furs and elder priests have badger caps from those holy animals that succumb to old age so that their thoughts and minds are guided by the wisdom of these creatures.
Those 'touched' by Waches are often described as "Stubborn", "Grumpy", and "Fiercely Loyal". 'Touched' view situations with a suspicious eye on a constant look out for threats to their clans. This does not mean they lack emotion or caring, but they are often simply preoccupied with making sure their friends and family are safe
