The Green Forest
The Marn is a great forest in the southwest of the Yavinian plain.
It is named for the river that starts here, and the people that live here are named after it.
The coastal parts of he marn are a tall highland plateau, with steep cliffs plummeting down into the sea, while on the land side, the first declines in altitude with jagged foothills, that are covered in trees
The Split Forest
These foothills divide the forest into two distinct regions, those that are independent, and inhabited by the Marnmen, and those under the control of westingham, and inhabited by many Westerners alongside the native Marnen population.
History
The forest used to b inhabited by elves, but this was long ago, when elves were the dominant race all the way up to the yavin river, Humanity has long since pushed them out of the region, although some elves may still be found in the southern parts, and their influence is still felt in the cultures that came after them.
