Airlifts

Using balloons filled with heated air people can travel vertically through the air. Often times small rowboat-like crafts or baskets are attached to the balloons for passengers. While their design can sometimes vary they often use either coals or magic crystals to act as a source of heat. Given their small size, they are oftentimes attached to Airships and used to ferry people to the ground. They often lack the ability to move horizontally.
