The Veilaro

Veilaro or The Veilaro (plural) is the name the world uses for the inhabitants of the The Red Desert. Although the four cities within the Red Desert are separate powers and have been known to fight one another to the world outside the desert their similarities in appearance and customs, as well as the fact that they share the same origin story, have caused them to be perceived as the same people.
The Veilaro are primarily comprised of humans with a small population of Yuan-ti Purebloods residing in one of the four cities. While it is not unheard of for a member of another race to live in one of the four cities within the red desert they are not considered Veilaro due to being unable to have the same physical traits. The Veilaro are of tall lean build with tan skin, dark eyes and very light hair. Often times their hair is silver, white, grey or light blonde.
The four cities are Olasar, Heváros, Vallenuare, and Mazalas. They are run by The People of the Dead, The People of the Sun, The People of the Stone, and The People of the Serpents respectively
