THE WORLDS OF OTHERVERSE

The Worlds of Otherverse is the setting for my shared universe. It encompasses Earth and the titular Worlds of Otherverse, a reality beyond our own where magic and technology are indistuinguishable and the mundane rubs shoulders with the esoteric.

The Worlds of Otherverse is a grouping of worlds or realms residing within thier own pocket dimension contained within a vast expanse called the Aetheric Sea. Otherverse functions by its own laws of reality and thus the impossible in our universe is possible there giving rise to strange worlds and entities.

The Worlds are littered with the remnants of a highly advanced civilisation known only as the Great Ones; these remnants include immense Arcologies many miles high, sentinent robots and a network of wormholes called the Tapestry; the latter connects all Otherverse and allows travel, for those who know the means to, travel between the realms with ease.

Earth, our Earth, is part of that Tapestry and its connection to Otherverse is one of the key mysteries and driving narrative force of the stories that take place in the setting.

The Worlds or realms themselves are diverse and filled with life in many different forms. Humans and generic fantasy races like Elves, Dwarves, Orcs, Giants and Dragons along with more strange and unqiue beings inhabit the Worlds of Otherverse.

Ultimately, Otherverse is a vast sandbox wherein anything is possible and I have considerable freedom in creating stories within.
