The Curse of World's End is a rare psychic condition that can shake the very foundation of an individual's life. Not only does it leave one yearning for the very edge of the understood world, but it also leaves them feeling separated from everyone around them, alien to what they once considered to be mundane. This yearning and separation cause a natural attraction between those affected by this "curse of the Far Realm," from every corner of the Wraith Globe, these outsiders come together to form a brotherhood of the other like them: The Brotherhood of the Void.

Structure

The Brotherhood of the Void does not have any form of true hierarchy. For the most part, each member of the brotherhood is treated as equal to each other, and any member that could be considered some sort of leader is either only honorary or situational.

Culture

Each and every member of the Brotherhood simply wish to rid themselves of this unnatural yearning that separates them from their friends, family, and people; their only wish is to find the Far Realm, and until that goal is accomplished, each and every moment of their life is consumed with thoughts of the Far Realm. They don't wish to harm anyone in their endeavor to find the Far Realm, the Brotherhood is in no way malicious. Like a friendly child yearning for something, they will stop at nothing, short of harming others, to get what they want.

History

Although the history of the Curse of World's End is vague and spotty at best, it is known that this rare condition was even rarer when it first began to crop up among the Finite Races. These first victims were sometimes heralded as prophets of doom and destruction, for better or worst. Some were worshipped for their so-called prophecy, while others were burned at the stake. In either case, these individuals felt isolated from who they once held so dear, and so they traveled far and wide across the Wraith Globe, not only to see if they could find the Far Realm but also to see if they could find anyone else like them. As it turns out, that endeavor was not in vain...
