Elthina
"Eternity is long enough that we need not rush to meet it."Elthina is the highest ranking member of the Chantry in all of Ferelden. She is also the Revered Mother of Denerim's Chantry. In the religious community, she is a deeply respected individual who has much wisdom to share with the world. She was born even prior to the Ferelden Rebellion in a small village in the West Hills known as Westhumble. Her age has provided her with the experience and knowledge necessary in seeing the world both as it is and how it should be. It is through her devout belief in the Maker that she has been able to persevere even when all odds seemed against her. Many of those who live in fear of the Chantry see her as the force holding the reigns back and preventing misuse of the Chantry's authority. It's undeniable that she's done a better job at keeping a separation of the Chantry and rulership than Kirkwall has. However, it is clear that she often doesn't want to get her hands dirty when sometimes they might need to be. Above all, Elthina strives for peace. She regularly puts on sermons outside of Denerim's Chantry and brings flocks of people from all throughout the city to watch and listen. There, she speaks words of wisdom where they're needed most. It is through this passing of wisdom she hopes to move the world closer, one step at a time, to the Maker's paradise.

Personal history
When she was young, her parents died of fever and she was taken in by the Chantry. She became a lay sister as a girl. Though she was given the choice to leave when she came of age, Elthina elected to stay and take her vows. She moved to Denerim when she was twenty. She soon became a Revered Mother there.
During her time as Revered Mother, the country went through many turmoils. Most noticeably, she held her title during the Ferelden Rebellion and the Ferelden Civil War. Time and time again, the Alamarri people would flock to her seek guidance. Every Sunday she would hold religious masses out in the courtyards of her Chantry for all to listen in on. People always knew her for the tales she would tell from her life, always having a way to impart her life's wisdom to others.
Late into her years, she was brutally murdered by a rogue Dalish mage named Camhlen. Her death was one of the major reasons that sparked the Danforth Incident.
