Tradesmen's Guild

The Tradesmen's Guild, commonly known as the Birds, is a powerful guild in Val Royeaux. Run by the once-Orlesian commoner Vaquelin du Savbois, the guild exists to protect the working class that have historically been incredibly mistreated by those wealthier than them.
Inspired by the monopoly held by the Coaches & Couriers Guild, the Birds have an incredibly powerful hold over the means of production. Upset them and they could easily shut down their facilities used to make the city's food supplies.
The symbol of the Birds is two peoples' hands clasped together.

Workers' Coalition

This coalition is composed of several smaller guilds which pledged their allegiance to the Birds. The most prominent guilds that came together under the Birds' banner were: Carpenters & Builders, Field-tenders, Ranch-hands, Tailors & Cobblers, and Smiths. Together they hold power over the people who once had absolute control over them. Agitate one portion of this very pro-worker coalition and you'll feel its wrath somewhere else, that's for sure.

Bronzebell Foundry

The Bronzebell Foundry is and has been the largest supplier of casted metals for Val Royeaux.

Eastpoint

Eastpoint is one of the eastern-most parts of the city and is also the informal name used to describe the location where food is processed and stored, such as the granaries and slaughterhouses.

District Safety Patrollers

This group serves as the muscle for the Tradesmen's guild. "The Butchers", as some people call them, have the goal of protecting the guild and those who align with the Birds. It used to be a common occurrence where workers of an establishment might protest poor working conditions only to be met by the establishment manager hiring a mercenary group to beat the workers back into shape. With the Butchers now in the picture, most mercenary groups would dread such an assignment knowing full-well that they're going to have to fight through swathes of strong-men wielding massive butcher cleavers.
