The Quarterstone

The quarterstone is a large obsidian obelisk that fell from the sky in 951ps.
during the battle of Äkersveld. (The last battle of the second great Phallangeian war)

Engraved in its four sides are divine words of warning.
The general message was: End the war on peaceful terms or witness the end of all life on Phallangeia.

Each of the four sides contains a "Chapter" of demands or guidelines that could be titled as follows:

1. Let bygones be bygones
2. Start working together
3. Ensure peace for future generations
4. Maintain that peace by any means necessary
   

The stone now stands within the hall of four kings in the city that was named after it. Every new king and queen has carved their name into the stone, as if signing a divine contract to honor these commandments. And any monarch that dares to step out of line has found their way to an early grave in the past ~300 years.
