Grumar Brickfury
Grumar Brickfury is a construction foreman whose great-great-grandfather helped construct the Sleeping Dragon. In fact he was the City Operator until shortly after Ruthata's coup, when he was ousted and replaced with Viablo Coldbrick. He is still bitter about the demotion, though he knows he is lucky to have not been jailed or otherwise silenced simply for his intricate knowledge of the Sleeping Dragon’s inner workings. It's possible he knows a way out of the city, but revealing such information would be treason.
Grumar employs Modrag Bristleback, but he is starting to regret his hiring decision. He finds Modrag to be lazy and “soft.” It’s not that he dislikes Modrag personally - he just doesn’t think he’s cut out for a life in construction, and is frustrated with his employee’s work ethic.
