River Spirit

River spirits are roughly humanoid in shape, though wider, seven feet tall on average, and of course, formed entirely of water. They are usually elusive, but are seen regularly around the town of Kofli in Krem. They are fond of children, and love to entertain with little tricks.

River spirits cannot wander far from the river that sustains them, but sometimes desire objects or tasks out of their reach. Though they do not speak, they are able to form approximations of objects out of water, and in this way they hire mortals for little jobs here and there. Sometimes a gift is given in return – usually a shell or pebble of little intrinsic value. Such gifts are known to bring good luck.
