On an event that Mary Kilford took the family wealth and saved Jeeves' family business while Kilford himself saved the dwarves family from demon that possessed his son - Thus the Dwarf swore a lifedebt oath to Kilford, serving his family as long as his family would be considered as equals.
Jeeves continued to help the family in all their ventures in business and then accompanied the latest son, Jarlin Kilford on his quests.
