Khro Az Clan
Khro Az Clan, also known as the Iron Axe Clan, is the third and yet more terrifying of the great clans of Khazad-Ram.
The Iron Axe dwarves are known for their unparalleled martial prowess, and their berserkers are feared across the land for their ferocity in battle. Their warriors are clad in the finest armor and wield the mightiest weapons, and they have never lost a battle.
But the Iron Axe dwarves are not content to sit within the safety of their mountain stronghold. They are adventurous and bold, and often travel outside the dwarven provinces to offer their services as mercenaries. They are in high demand, and their reputation as the best fighting force in the kingdom precedes them.
History
In the year 457 AB , a great threat emerged to the kingdom of Khazad-Ram. A coaliation of several armies of Dragonborn from the Old Ansko Empire, goblins, giants orcs had gathered, led by a powerful warlord intent on conquering the dwarves and claiming their riches for himself. King Brazin III called upon the Iron Axe dwarves to defend the kingdom, knowing that they were the only ones capable of withstanding such a fierce onslaught.
The Iron Axe dwarves did not disappoint. They fought with all their might, their berserkers leading the charge and tearing through the enemy lines with their unstoppable fury. The Iron Axe defenders held the line, their shields forming an impenetrable wall against the enemy assault. The warlord himself led the final charge, but was met with the full force of the Iron Axe warriors. In the end, the dwarves emerged victorious, and the warlord was driven back to the depths of his dark lair.
The Iron Axe dwarves returned to Khazad-Ram as heroes, their reputation as the finest warriors in the kingdom further solidified. They were hailed as the saviors of the kingdom, and King Brazin III declared that they would forever be remembered as the greatest defenders of the dwarven people.
And so, the Iron Axe clan of dwarves continue to roam the land as mercenaries, offering their services to those in need. But they never forgot their duty to their people, and whenever the kingdom of Khazad-Ram is threatened, they stand ready to defend it with all their might.
