Labelisi Orchid Elixir

Labelisi Orchid Elixir is a legendary concoction, rumored to possess the power to temporarily suspend the march of mortality. Its origins are shrouded in myth, but it is said to be a gift from Labelas Enoreth, the Elven god of time.

Effects

Consuming the Elixir grants the drinker a temporary reprieve from the inexorable passage of time. Their physical form is restored to the peak of its vitality, free from the burdens of age, illness, or injury, scars, lost limbs, curses, diseases or poisons. However, this rejuvenation is fleeting, and the effects gradually wear off, leaving the drinker to resume their natural aging process.

Distribution

The elixir's distribution is tightly controlled. Annually, a blind, mute servant emerges from the heavily fortified Citadel inside Aeloriandor with five vials. These vials are transported to many cities for auction, following an ancient rotational order. Selected foreign emissaries are invited to bid on the vials, with the five highest bidders each receiving one, while the losers forfeit their bids. All auction proceeds go to the Owhain. However, the last two shipments were lost due to apparent teleportation accidents.

Manufacturing process

Crafting the Labelisi Orchid Elixir is a perilous and intricate process, requiring months of meticulous labor. Its core ingredient is the ethereal essence of the Chronal Bloom.   The production of the Elixir is a closely guarded secret, known only to a select few. The distribution of this precious substance is equally controlled, with each vial commanding exorbitant prices.

History

is a an elixir known to the clergy of Labelas Enoreth and was discovered by Arwil's trusted alchemist, who was rumored to be a gnome and its a secret closely guarded even since.

Significance

Despite the wealth generated, most Daoin Quessir are not directly involved in the elixir trade.
