Screaming Gibbets

The Screaming Gibbets, also known as the Screaming Gallows, is a cursed gallows built by Der'nasel, the majordomo of Lond Ebon.

It seemed simple enough - have the timber cast a reanimating spell on the corpses; but appearantly zombies don't suffer as much; at least not enough to scream.

Deathspeaking seemed like a promising avenue, but it comes with its own limitations, namely, they simply talk. I've spent six months coming up with a spell that can cause the soul to return to the body without reanimating it.

The calculations I had to go through would have caused horrible cramps were my muscles still functioning. But look at it now: they gasp for air for minutes, and then they start screaming for hours. Marvelous.
