Telwyng-Odilin

Telwyng-Odilin, or 'Worthy of Following' from Elvish to Common, is the title of the ultimate ruler of Owhain, where the soul of the monarch is taking the essence of the previous rulers of the Daoin Quessir.

History

The name comes from Glorasil, who was a long lined decendent of many Sehan Elves rulers, but the elves never officialized the title. The title was given to other rulers, signifying the importance of following the ultimate ruler. Only after the Death of Glorasil Telwyn-Odilin, the people of Owhain, changed the title.

Appointment

Since the death of Glorasil Telwyng-Odilin, those who can be appointed to Telwying-Odilin, are those who exhibit super-natural advantages, even to those of the Sehan Elves. Each time, there might be 10 individuals who are blessed with these kind of powers, creating a vote within the nobles of Owhain for those they deem best to be king or queen. Those who share the potential to be Telwyng-Odilin, once commited to the role of High-King or High-Queen, are experiencing within a year the whole total life-span of all previous elves, learning their lessons and combining their ability to lead. This ability is considered to be Super-Natural and granted by The Seldarine. There was only once instance in history, where the newly appointed Telwng-Odilin, didn't manage to recall anything and as such, had retired early.
