The The Free Marches had invaded the Holy State of Aluda'ar and had ruled over them for a decade until the resistence under Erok Keenthane.

This war has carried on for 2 years, as the raids became more frequent and the people of the Holy State of Aluda'ar were left and surrendered.   However, Erok a merchant and a veteran from several orcs war in the north, had many people coming with him to refuge in the ice glacier, where they mounted a resistance.   Erok was chosen by She'eros to lead the people of Aluda'ar.
