Muriax

Muriax is the Capital of the island alliance known as the Mithril Isles. It also functions as the home of the Highborn Treaty, the alliance made with the other islands of the Violent tides. Muriax holds a significant position in the tides as the seat of the Dwarvish kingdom of the Bellowlaws, the current ruling family of the Mithril Isles. 
Muriax is located on the island of the same name and lies on the east side of the Silversong mountains. It lies a day's travel inland from the nearest harbour as the city was built on the side of the mountains. It stands out as far as Dwarvish cities go, Muriax was not built under the surface or inside a mountain but in the open air.  The city has a culture of sport, competition, and tests of bravery. Adventurers and daredevils travel from far and wide to the city to prove their strength and fight for honour, either for themselves, their organizations or their kingdoms.
Every year on The Storm lord's holy day, the city of Muriax and the followers of Moradin and Kord organize a contest of champions known as The Storms' call in a giant Colosseum, the Theatre of the Storm.
