The Siege of Elysium

The capital of Elgranar, Elysium is under siege from Marcisian invaders.

Marcisian legionnaires turn south, and put Elysium under siege. Their ships put an embargo on the harbor, trapping elven ships in port. Elysium is well stocked for a long siege, and their bowmen and cavalry rival that of Marceaux. They are also defended by mages, the likes of which surpass Marcisian magic, but they are severely outnumbered. Fighting their way out of the city is impossible. The elves are trapped, and while they have stocks aplenty, stores do eventually run dry. They were able to hold for nearly two years, but in the end, Marceaus starved the city out.
