Dragokin (dra-goh-kinn)

Basic Information

Anatomy

All Dragokin have manes and matching tail tufts. Their tails are covered in tiny scales which tart at the base of the tail at their back and continue down until the tail tuft. They have slit pupils like a serpent, usually in a color reflecting their Elemental Aspect. Once they reach around 2 fledgling Dragokin start growing their antlers. The shape and color of the antlers usually reflects a Dragokin's Elemental Aspect.

Genetics and Reproduction

Dragokin females lay eggs with an inner shell of nimbus gold. Then 8 months later (if the right conditions are met) the egg hatches.
Once they reach maturity Dragokin have the ability to shift their gender by going into a metamorphic hibernation state for a month as their body remakes itself into the opposite gender.
