Alkanal

A large active volcano on Volcano island, a small continent of Tebburus (contrary to its name!).
Alkanal has remained active for hundreds of thousands of years and remains active currently. However, during the Tebburus Unification War, various inhabitants also called it home as it was well sealed off and protected, surprisingly. These groups lived in small caves allowing them to remain safe from eruptions. Although one particular case covered the nearby ground with extremely deep soot, they eventually managed to uncover the soot blocking the enterances to the house caves. Furthermore, during the industrial era, the local population constructed a tank factory out of it. The lava and magma nearby helped to refine metal armour and make it very easy to form a metal similar to RHA steel armour. The lava also brought them materials to collect and build tanks from. As such, this volcano became a strategic target, except no one outside of Volcano Island knew where the factory was located due to how well-concealed it is. This brought them very valuable armoured forces that have been used many times against invaders as well as to unify the rest of the Volcano island. Despite this the area has been invaded by Tastein and Volcano Island has fallen to Tastein control. In more modern times, it is mostly a small village inhabiting a population of several hundred. It is also very well reinforced with walls in order to easily resist all eruptions. They have closed off all enterances. They instead rely on Teleporters to leave the small towm.
