Tebburus

It all began on Planet Tebburus. Tebburus was a massive planet, with many times the surface area of Earth. It has a strong gravitational field, but it was mostly neutralised by an ancient machine deep in the crust of the planet. This machine bioengineered the first cells of life from which all would grow. Life that evolved on it typically ended up bioluminescent as a result. A lot of life on this world are blue, but not all. Bioluminescence was typically blue as well, but not necessarily. The machine also created a strange exotic material, Aetherium, causing stuff to lift up. Concentrations of this material on the surface sometimes caused chunks of land to lift, creating strange floating islands. The material reacts strangely to gravity when energized. The ancient machine provides the crystals with energy. Due to the plant life having evolved a much more efficient photosynthesis process, the biosphere of the planet is far more dense. This allows the sustenance of the huge Titanic Lifeforms.   There was one continent in particular, Ochia, which appears to be a sort of megastructure made of an extremely strong material. This is Hyperunreactive Alloy.   Most of the worlds oceans were clear and light could travel easily through it.   Unlike on almost all worlds, life also thrived underground. Caves often filled with a bioluminescent grass-like moss lit up the caves, where many creatures roam, including larger ones. The ancient machine that bioengineered life also made cells that could neutralize entropy, allowing the moss to harness energy from the heat formed by decay of radioactive material deep underground, but no other life forms on the planet had this ability. Spores could tunnel through the rock to find other caves to reproduce in, filling those with life too. As water is common underground, it should be theoretically possible for a human to survive in such an environment, assuming they could avoid all the larger predators. Tebburus had few cave systems, but those it did have were massive. However, the mantle would be too hot for life to live in. It would just burn up. Thus none has ever been to the ancient machine itself, which is buried deep in the mantle. There is only one key exception. After Tarlox was hit with the antimatter weapon, his soul was sent to the ancient machine and put in a new Suon body. This one, being precisely and expertly engineered by the place.   Tebburus featured many exotic species that only it can support in its extremely unique biosphere. Some could grow to huge sizes. The ocean creatures could grow even larger still. Some, called Titanic Lifeforms, could grow to immense sizes ranging in the kilometers scale. These lifeforms are rare, and actually being colonies of a huge number of bacterial cells which constantly reproduce and result in growth of the creature. Some predators could attack prey from long distances, sometimes this could come in the form of acid and web spit or even particle beams. Some larger creatures like Seediron Breeders were known for extremely rapidly breeding small ‘drones’ which would attack anything the ‘carrier’ could eat. Then it would float down and do so. Some forms of bacteria existed that could infect a creature, interfere with its brain to zombify them and induce a mutation in its body to fill it with some substance that explodes! These entities often run very fast up to any creature similar sized, and explode, to infect them.     The radius of Tebburus is significantly larger than any other habitable planet. Therefore it has a much larger mass, so its orbital period is significantly faster. As opposed to that of real life's Earth, with a 365 day orbital period, Tebburus has a 37 day orbital period. Tebburus years are almost 10x shorter than those of Earth.   History of Tebburus
