Assault Fleet Typhoon

A very large, but elite fleet of the HF.   The Assault Fleet Typhoon is led by a single Cataclysm - Class Star Annihilator, T.S. Typhoon. The fleet has seen action on multiple fronts, such as against the Cypher Dominion and HEX Mainframe. It has seen action during the Hyperquasar Annihilator War, where it famously managed to eliminate 8 entire Cypher Dominion fleets on its own through the use of their cutting edge technology, very high morale and extremely well-trained forces. This impressive feat happened in the RJ-5S4 galaxy, where the CD has constructeda large infrastructure.   It is comprised of several components known as splinter fleets, each led by a Hyperion - Class Worldship Carrier. This allows them to command a total of almost 100 splinter fleets so those are sometimes grouped into larger action groups in massed invasions.T.S. Typhoon was one of the first ships of its class built and the crew has been constantly trained in Virtual Universe simulators ever since. Those of lower performance are usually placed into different fleets, but not after gathering some experience from the elite force of the Typhoon fleet. As part of their training, they are often pitted against other starfleets of the HF inside virtual universe simulations. These are often spectatad by billions, but both sides would often learn a lot from these events. It is culturally accepted that both sides should share experience with each other after all the battles.   The fleet is stationed near the core of the Ilioneus galaxy. This hides its energy signature effectively, and the galaxy in particular is one that is often attacked by both the CD and HM due to proximity. However it is more offensively focused than defencive and as such the fleet is usually not seen orbiting its base, which is a Dyson Sphere constructed to support many large fleets. Megastructures such as this can support thousands of similar fleets (which are often not as experienced as the Typhoon fleet) in orbit around it.
