Hyperquasar Annihilator War

As the Hyperion Federation, Hyperion Empire and HEX Mainframe realized the immense destructive potential of the Cypher Hyperquasar Annihilator during its construction, they set out to never allow them to use it. The 3 aforementioned factions formed the Coalition during the conflict. During the war, other factions joined the Coalition as they too realize the true stakes of the war. The Coalition disbanded immediately after the conflict because they are still enemies of each other.
The war still has a significant impact on how every faction treats superweapons. Surprisingly, it has contributed to galaxy cluster peace because of this, however, they sre still seemingly constantly at the brink of war. Due to the immense casualties suffered by all sides of the war, every faction has become noticeably weaker. As they still have not recovered 2000 years later, the total might of the pre-war Cluster was still stronger than current. For some factions, it has even led to technological stagnation.
Surprisingly, few forces were deployed across the Fracture. Both sides made a pact with each other to focus down the CD and CC on their own, understanding that Coalition internal battles would damage them significantly. Within each side of the Cluster, each faction would have to cooperate with each other extremely well, all understanding the technologies and doctrines of one another. This way, the strengths of one faction made up for the weaknesses of others. For example, HF forces would be deployed whenever the Coalition required exceptionally powerful ships and to reinforce attacking forces with very powerful technology. TN ships were often used for a highly mobile fire support unit but despite this the TN still suffered about as many casualties as other factions due to CD long range weapns.
