Scexod
The Scexod are present in many areas through Planet Mauray. They are a very large sentient race and also very strong. As such, their militaries are often very powerful. Apart from their large height, they can also be identified by their green skin.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Apart from their large size, scexods have a more humanoid anatomy though they notably have larger legs to support the larger weight. Their arms are also larger and very muscular. The scexod ribcage is also more enclosed than that of a human, giving them more protection but that prevents them from being as mobile as a human. This means they are often slower despite being large.
Biological Traits
Scexods are primarily comprised of muscle. They are wide for their height as a result.
Genetics and Reproduction
Scexod have 3 genders, and all 3 must be present to reproduce. The female will eventually lay multiple eggs (often between 2-5, but it can be more). These will hatch after about 10 months and are famously hard to defend in scexod culture, but must be defended at all costs. After hatching to be just under a metre tall, they grow to full size and mature in about 35 years, but that can vary significantly between 20 and 50.

Average Intelligence
Scexod are mostly muscle. Their brains are still only about the size of a human one but more of it is used for processing their larger body. They are typically not as smart as humans.
Perception and Sensory Capabilities
Scexod, much like humans, have 2 eyes and ears on their head for light and sound perception. They are not as well magically attuned as a human though, so they struggle with detecting magical energies.
Symbiotic and Parasitic organisms
Their immensely muscular nature is due to a symbiotic relationship with a bacteria that grows in large numbers on the scexod body
Civilization and Culture
History
The Scexod were engineered by the world itself on the surface.
Their first contact with another sentient species was with humans. The scexod tried to hunt the humans thinking their own species was the only sentient one in existance. The humans fought back but retreated. 4 humans and 2 scexod were killed.
During the industrial age, they had a large amount of unexploited resources on their territory because they never used it before. Other species tried contesting and trading for it.

Between 3 m - 5 m, with an average of 4.2 m.
