Mauray

World most famous for the primitive civilizations it holds. There are multiple races that fight over the world and to unify the rest under their banner. The part that is most interesting to the Hyperion Federation, however, is that much of the population seem to be able to use a form of magic. This magic is given to them by an Archaeotech artifact deep in the core of the planet. Additionally, the whole world is comprised of a huge number of layers and is entirely artificial. Each location has a variation of various biomes. The world is actually a megastructure much larger than any known habitable planet - including Tebburus. The entire underground seems to be arranged in a way similar to an extremely large and complex machine, using many giant gears, but who knows what it was built to do. While the underground goes very deep, well into the mantle and even into the core, the gravitation of the lower levels is reduced significantly because they are partly attracted to the high mass of the upper layers. The underground is ever changing. Different expeditions to the same place, often mere hours apart, sometimes encounter totally different terrains. However, the core is where the artifact resides. The core looks like a large sphere. No species has ever seen the artifact itself, but few have seen the core.
The whole thing is in the dark interstellar void in the ZQ-43D galaxy. A small star orbits the world, making it habitable. In the lower layers, the star is a large UV light that slowly makes its way around the underground.
The HF watches from afar, constantly trying to figure out what is going on and how, without making contact with the natives.
There are various sentient species that vie over control of the planet and, in some cases, survival. There are humans, Suons, Ulkon, Scexods, Ganablins, Epthas, Elves and Enalarins.

The world was built by the Xadia Ancients as an experiment. As such, Suons were seeded on Mauray along with their unique ecosystems they need to survive. The various suon genes were placed on the world as well, unlike on Tebburus, where they had to make them themselves. Furthermore, the Xadia built a number of Taidakic Field generators, giving the world a powerful and very noticeable Taidakic field at the surface. This resulted in a number of floating islands, the possibility to build large airships, flying suons, ect.
