Xamoid

A hiveminded species of many different forms existing in the Arcturus galaxy. They eventually ammassed all the biomass of their homeworld and then evolved themselves to gain the ability of space travel. They have accumnulated multipe worlds and exist purely to consume all and move on to the next planet. Obviously, all the sapient species had a major disliking of this. However, sending a military force after them would only feed them more. However, the Hyperion Federation had a solution in the form of the Superstring - Class Subspatial Starship. These were used to destroy every star system the Xamoid controlled and sucessfully caused them to go extinct in little more than a few moments. Xamoid queens are too large to be mobile as they masively outgrow their legs.

Genetics and Reproduction

Xamoid hives have multiple queens that drink biomass and continually lay eggs. These hatch into larvae, which can take up many forms from workers to soldiers or even bioships. If needed, they can also metamorphesise into a queen.
