Adventuring Seasons
The game is broken up into adventuring seasons. The seasons system works as follows;
- Each year is comprised of four seasons; Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall.
- Each season is 91 days long and the year is 364 days long.
- After 4 played sessions a season will pass, regardless of the days that passed in the session.
- Short-lived races may age out of adventure over an extended period of time. Consider how time will impact your character.
- Adventurers are not required to go on an adventure every season. But once a season passes the adventurer loses the opportunity to adventure during that period.
- The season may affect the environment, wildlife, and denizens of the wilderness, either closing off or opening up opportunities. (This is all within the DM's discretion).
- The seasons each consist of 3 months, 2 30 day months, and 1 31 day month. The calendar is below;
- Dawnbreak (30 days)(January)
- Morning Sun (30 days)(February)
- Frostend (31 Days) (March) (Frostend/March 20 is the first day of Spring)
- Stormbreak (31 days)(April)
- Seed (30 days)(May)
- Midyear (30 days)(June) (Midyear/June 21 is the first day of Summer)

Note: the calendar year changes after the first session of winter, though an adventuring year ends after the last session of winter which is 16 played sessions.
