elementals

Elementals is the common name for creatures in this world who naturally contain magic in them. there are 2 main types of elementals. The first one are pure elementals, being made fully or mostly out of one of the elemental types, and are usually sentient. the other type is natural elementals, being mostly normal but infused with magic in them. these include any animal species containing magic, such as the cloudleaper deer, as well as the bigger monsters such as dragons, hydras, and krakens. most natural elementals are not sentient. all elementals contain magic, but only pure elementals have enough elemental energy in them to be effective sources of power for runes.
