high-captain

Qualifications

to become a high-general, you need 10 years in service, at least 6 medals, and having show a proper skill for tactics.

Appointment

once someone is chosen to become a high-general, they will have an official military ceremony to make the appointment official

Duties

they have many tasks, revolving from keeping their men's morale up, making sure they are properly supplied, setting up tactics, and punishing soldiers who have done a major crime.

Benefits

they are given a high social status, and access to supplies they will need for their survival

Accoutrements & Equipment

the high-generals let their armor and the weapon they use get heavily enchanted with close to the best runes the bulwark has, as well as a unique medal showing it.

Grounds for Removal/Dismissal

upon accusations of treason, the magisters or the tyrant can evict someone from the position, or if a high-general is heavily injured, they will be honorably dismissed.
